May 2022 Primary Election Results

Most of the 2022 Primary Election Results are in. In Clackamas County there are about 60,000 ballots that are unreadable due to blurry barcodes that can’t be read. APANO is excited to have endorsed Catherine McMullen for the November General 2022 election to be the next Clackamas County Clerk so future elections are counted accurately and without further delays or preventable mistakes. While we wait for Clackamas County’s delayed elections results, let's celebrate some amazing historic wins for our community and our state.

APANO completed its 8th election cycle and there was a new wave of excitement on election night as we were able to safely be in the community again. For the first time ever, we have the opportunity to have 5 Asian State legislators. In Multnomah County, Hoa Nguyen in House District 48, Thuy Tran in House District 45, and Khanh Pham in House District 46. And in Washington County, Hai Pham in House District 36. And depending on the final results House District 38 will be represented by Daniel Nguyen or Neelam Gupta.

Our Political Team’s field efforts were led by Sophia Vicencio (APANO’s Field Manager). With five Election Field Organizers we made almost 30,000 phone dials to registered voters to Get Out The Vote! For many of our field organizers this was their first time getting engaged with APANO’s C4 candidate work. We look forward to engaging our APANO community again through the 2022 General election in November.
